Diet Red Pill

Dieting is a huge issue for millions of people all over the world.  Everyone eats and everyone has preferences.  Some do it purely for survival purposes and others entire lives revolve around their next meal.  I have researched diet for over a decade and although I hold no fancy feminist degrees (which are worthless) I have taken official nutrition classes and studied nutrition at a molecular level and have a basic understanding of hormones and metabolism.

Everyone is trying to sell you the magic fix.  If you struggle with your weight I am here to tell you that I have nothing to sell to you.  All the information that you will find here on my blog is FREE for you to share and do with what you like (as long as you don’t plagiarize of course).  I am here to tell you that you can loose weight but you will have to essentially have to unlearn a lot of what you may have heard as advice and in diet literature.  Will you have the Blue Pill, or the Red Pill?

Any diet that tells you what you can and can’t eat is ridiculous.  Forget everything you know about what “good” and “bad” foods.  Stop counting calories.  This is where things can get so complicated and overwhelming that many people looking for advice on how to loose weight end up with more conflicting information and confusion than when they first typed “how to loose weight” into the google search tab.  Let me take that heavy weight off your shoulders.

One needs to go back to the basics.  Everybody is different so giving someone a specific and strict diet will obviously not work for everyone.  It is proven that if you want someone to remember something then it’s best to keep things as simple as possible.  Just remember the concept of nutrition.  The next time you are at the grocery store, or at a restaurant, or about to shove some food into your mouth just ask yourself one thing:  will this food serve me nutritionally.

You see, your body is much like a computer, and food is like a data update that your system needs keep your software and hardware happy.  Ask yourself, ‘Does this food have nutritional value’?  If the answer is no then put it down and walk away.  On one hand we have a ripe juicy Florida Orange and on the other hand we have a candy bar.  Both are data updates from different sources but one will provide decent data at a small size and the candy bar provides hardly any data and the file size is almost a Gigabyte.

If you are looking at food which has been processed in any way then it is junk and it is better suited for a trash can than a living organism.  Processed foods have tons of extra fillers and preservatives that the body doesn’t handle very well, which can cause the body to shift very quickly into fat-storage mode.  This type of fat can be incredibly difficult to get rid of.  When the human body can’t use the food you eat as energy immediately then guess what happens?  It is stored as fat.

If you are serious about loosing weight and you want to see results just shift to a plant-based diet.  The body is incredibly good at using nutritionally dense fruits and vegetables because, well, they are what the human body is used to.  Also, you can pretty much constantly pig out on fruits and vegetables without counting calories and continue to loose weight.  The difference is the quality of the food that you are putting into your body.  If you want to have a dream body then you need to have a dream diet.

Think about what you would eat if money was not an issue.  What do you think the richest more wealthy people in the world eat?  They are eating fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables.  You have the option, the privilege and the freedom to eat like the richest person in the world everyday.  Seek these foods and they will seek you out as well.
